Shivamogga: The celebration of Gauri-Ganesha festival has already begun and district police have said that stern action will be taken against the ones who create problems during the Ganesha festival celebration.
SP Abhinav Khare, addressing media at SP Office here on Wednesday, September 12 said that all necessary steps have been taken to ensure peaceful celebrations and security has been stepped up in the region.
The SP has said that while every Ganesha pendal should have CCTV cameras installed, events like bike rallies and DJ night at the pendal have been banned.
