Offcial BJP manifesto for Shivamogga released on May 7

Shivamogga: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) officially released its manifesto for Shivamogga district at its Shivamogga Head Office on May 7.

Speaking on the occasion, Leader of the Opposition in the state and BJP MLA candidate K S Eshwarappa said, “We have a BJP-led government in the Centre. If elected, we will successfully implement our manifesto with the union government’s cooperation. We have included people’s opinions and suggestions into our manifesto. Beyond the manifesto, we respect the people.”

Talking on the issue of shortage of sand in the district, Eshwarappa alleged, “A powerful sand mafia is operating in Karnataka in secret. We will curb the sand mafia and ensure that sand and mortar is available to common man at all times.”

Bolsetered by the campaign by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Shivamogga and the rest of Karnataka, he said that BJP would win a complete majority in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly.

BJP District President Rudregauda briefed on the district and taluk-wise schemes promised in the manifesto.

Among other things, the manifesto promises to construct homes for the poor and accelerated development of a smart city.

BJP leaders M B Bhanu Prakash, R K Siddaramanna, Ayanuru Manjunath, D S Arun, Subash, Jnaneshwar, M Shankar and Chenny were present.
