Shivamogga: The Congress-Janata Dal (S) coalition candidate for Shivamogga Lok Sabha constituency, Madhu Bangarappa, stepped into his father’s shoes by playing the ‘Dhol’ during his election campaign at Shivaji Kanive in Shikaripura.
The villagers of Shivaji Kanive celebrated the arrival of Madhu Bangarappa by bursting crackers. Madhu participated in the celebration by playing ‘Dhol’ which has a cultural significance in the area.
“You have given me the ‘Dhol.’ Likewise, give me your valuable votes and help me win the election,” pleaded Madhu Bangarappa.
