Shivamogga: “The Railway Department has given permission for Shatabdi rail movement between Shivamogga and Bengaluru with effect from February 3,” said MP B Y Raghavendra here on Wednesday, January 30.
He said that the train which departs from Shivamogga will go upto Yeshwanthapur Railway Station of Bengaluru.
“In this 14-bogie-train, seven bogies will be air-conditioned”, said Raghavendra.
Shatabdi rail schedule
Jan Shatabdi will leave Shivamogga at 5.30 AM and reach Bengaluru by 10 AM. the same train leaving from Bengaluru at 5.30 PM will reach Shivamogga at 10 PM.
On Monday, Wednesday and Friday, the service will be between Shivamogga –Bengaluru. The train which leaves from Shivamogga on Saturday morning will reach Bengaluru on Sunday evening.
The Shatabdi train will stop at Bhadravati, Tarikere, Kadur, Birur, Arasikere and Tumkur stations.
