Shivamogga: Rowdy sheeter Karab Shivu and his two brothers have been arrested by the Doddapete police in Bengaluru.
Seetharam N K alias Karab Shivu and his brothers S K Nagaraj alias Nagi and S K Subrahmani alias Subbu, who are wanted by the Shivamogga police, were absconding in Bengaluru. The three brothers were not using mobile phones and were shifting to different locations, making it a difficult task for the police to trace them. Finally, the police team headed by CPI Vasanth Kumar of Doddapete police station and PSI Abhay Prakash of Jayanagar police station were successful in nabbing Karab Shivu in a school where he had gone to enroll his son.
All the three were wanted in the Govinda Swamy murder case. Market Giri’s brother Govinda Swamy was murdered on the evening January 30 in the Garden Area. Eight accused have already been arrested. The three brothers were produced before the court.
Superintendent of Police Dr. Ashwini has said that the reason for the murder of Govinda Swamy is family rivalry. “The department is progressing in Market Giri murder case and O T Bidder Balesh case. More information cannot be shared as the culprits have to be arrested,” Dr. Ashwini said.
