Shivamogga: The district will be witnessing a cricket extravaganza from November 29 till February 2020, at the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) Grounds, Navule.
Addressing the media on Thursday, November 28, convenor of the KSCA (Shivamogga Zone) D S Arun said, “It is going to be a ‘festival of cricket’ starting from tomorrow i.e, November 29, which will continue till February 2020. It will be an absolute ‘desi’ cricket.”
“From November 29 till December 2, the BCCI Under-19 Cooch Behar Trophy will be held, where Karnataka will face Gujarat. The Under-23 match will be played from December 11 to 14, where Karnataka will be up against Hyderabad and form February 4 to 7, Karnataka will battle Madhya Pradesh in Ranji Trophy,” he added.
Meanwhile, Arun said that the tournament will involve players who have even played cricket at the international level as well.
