Shivamogga: Police have nabbed the thief who has been accused of stealing 24 mobile phones from policemen, who were on duty during the Hindu Mahasabha Ganesha Visarjan procession.
The accused has been identified as Karthik from Tamil Nadu. The policemen who had their mobile phones stolen by him were from the Doddapete Police Station in Shivamogga.
Police also seized an additional 12 mobile phones when Karthik was arrested at Buddha Nagar on Saturday, November 9.
It has been revealed that the mobile thief already had four cases registered against him. Karthik is said to be a resident of Vani Ambadi village in Vellore, Tamil Nadu.
