Cong-JD (S) coalition will win atleast 22 seats in LS polls: Bandeppa Kashempur

Shivamogga: “The Congress-Janata Dal (S) coalition will win atleast 22 seats in the Lok Sabha elections,” said State Minister for Cooperation Bandeppa Kashempur. Kashempur is campaigning in Shivamogga after Mandya, Mysuru, Tumakuru and Hassan constituencies.

Speaking at a press conference here on Thursday, April 11, Kashempur, said, “Siddaramaiah as chief minister and his current successor H D Kumaraswamy have implemented various developmental programmes including irrigation projects in Shivamogga. The achievements of the coalition government will lead us to victory. Madhu Bangarappa will win the LS poll by a huge margin.”

“When the Congress party was in power in the centre, it had implemented various schemes for the farmers. The coalition government in the state has waived off crop loans to the tune of Rs 8,165 Crore. Siddaramaiah and Kumaraswamy have fulfilled their promise of waiving off farmers loans,” he added.

“As much as Rs 259 Crore has been released for Shivamogga district. As many as 69,000 farmers will benefit from this. The state government will also provide interest free loans of upto Rs 10,000 to the road side traders. Small time manufacturers will be given inducement amounts. All these developments will contribute to the victory of the Congress-JD (S) coalition,” said Kashempur.

Shivamogga Milk Union President Vidyadhara, Agricultural Produce Market Committee (APMC) President Duggappa Gowda, Jagadish, Sathish and many others were present during the press meet.
