Shivamogga: After Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy commented about Sanehalli Taralabalu Math seer Panditaradhya Shivacharya Swami, advising him to stop indulging in politics, the BJP in Shivamogga, demanded that the CM must apologise for the same.
“Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy must apologise to the Sanehalli seer because the latter was merely advising him. The chief minister has insulted the seer with his comments by saying that he should not get involved in politics”, said Rudregauda, BJP District president at a press meet on May 26.
If the people decide to take out a strike and call a Karnataka bundh then we will support them, he added.
He also accused the the Janata Dal (S) and Congress parties of forming an “unholy alliance” that ignored the people’s mandate.
Other BJP leaders were present at the press meet.
