Speaking to media persons in Shivamogga, he said, “About 170 taluks in the state are affected by drought. The BJP parliamentarians and legislators will meet on June 5 at Bengaluru to discuss the issue.” “Soon I will tour the state to assess the situation in the drought hit regions,” BSY added.
“The BJP has won 25 constituencies in the Lok Sabha election and with a little more effort we could have won even Hassan constituency,” said Yeddyurappa.
“It is appreciable that three of the BJP Parliamentarians from Karnataka have been included in the union ministry. One more minister from Karnataka would have been helpful for the overall development of the state,” he added.
