Shivamogga: Reacting after the High Court quashed all the FIRs filed against him on the charges of alleged denotification of land, Former Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa said that he was happy with the move and his ultimate goal was to bring BJP back to power in Karnataka.
Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, BSY said it was a baseless allegation against him and added that many chief ministers in the past have denotified lands.
When questioned on the State BJP president post, he said that the high command will look into this matter.
Commenting on the recently held MLC polls, in which BJP received only 6 seats, he said that there is no pro-Congress wave as such in the state. Money power played a major role in the elections and that might have been the reason for Congress’ win at his home constituency of Shivamogga, he said.
