Shivamogga: Shivamogga Deputy Commissioner K A Dayanand, on August 14, opined that there are ways to bring about effective changes in administration, without changing the administrative structure.
Speaking with reporters here, Dayanand said, “Our forebearers have introduced this administrative system after making a thorough study and discussing with the technical experts. Hence I will give importance to correcting any administrative loopholes in the system. It is my priority to bring changes in the administration without changing the administrative structure introduced by our elders.”
The deputy commissioner also informed that he was gathering information on the problems of the district. “The problems identified will be sorted out at the different levels of administration,” he said.
Highlighting the role of the media in aiding the administration, the DC said, “When the media highlights a loophole in the system, it will be helpful for the administration to close them.”
