Shivamogga: Aysha Siddique, who was given a “triple talaq” by her husband Mustafa Baig, has said that the complaint filed with police had not helped her and her daughter.
Protesting in front of the Deputy Commissioner’s office on Monday, October 14, Aysha demanded justice saying that Mustafa, who is in Dubai, had divorced her over Whatsapp. According to her close friends, it is now understood that Mustafa is not ready to leave Dubai.
Aysha has questioned whether it is ethical on Mustafa’s part to give her a triple talaq after having led a married life for 21 years.
She said, “My daughter’s future is at stake, hence arrangements should be made for us to live together. I request the government and the public to join hands with me in this fight for justice.”
