The Chairman of the Karnataka Commission for the Protection of Child Rights declared Kishan Shrikanth, also known as Master Kishan, as its brand ambassador on Friday. Kishan shot to fame by entering the Guinness Book of World Records as the Youngest director in 2006.
Born in the year 1996, Kishan directed the movie C/o Footpath when he was just ten years old. He started his acting career in the year 2001 itself through the movie Grama Devate. He has made his mark in the industry as an actor and a director.
The Chairman mentioned in a letter that they appreciate his willingness to accept the position as the ambassador. “It is indeed a privilege to have an eminent person like you who has been inspired since childhood to encourage children towards education through your work in art and cinema,” he said. Adding to it he said, “I would like to know your insights and perspectives about the responsibilities as the ambassador and your interest towards working in line with the objectives of the Commission. Looking forward to a positive impact through your work focusing on the best interest of the children.”
He has been asked to serve towards the purpose of the commission which includes implementation of the Right to Education.
