Well, it looks like sequels are a new trend in Sandalwood. We recently saw “Raambo 2” releasing and getting super hit status. Anil Kumar had directed this film and now he is all set to direct another sequel. We all know that Yash has decided to work with Anil and it now looks like the film will be a “Kirataka” sequel.
“Kirataka”, which was Yash’s first remake film in Kannada, was a big hit. The film got Yash into the safe hero league. The film was set against the Mandya backdrop and this was the film that got him hardcore fans. “Kirataka” was directed by Pradeep Raj. It was a remake of the Tamil sleeper hit film “Kalavani”.
Now after seven years, he will be getting back to playing a similar role on the silver screen. This will be the next film that Yash will begin to shoot after the magnum opus, “KGF”. Yash will also be associating with director Harsha and Narthan. While the former is currently committed to another film, the latter is getting ready with the script.
