Yash has dismissed the news of working in S S Rajamouli’s next film, which has been tentatively titled as RRR. The film which stars Tollywood superstars Junior NTR and Ramcharan went on floors a week ago. The film which is reportedly being made on budget of Rs 300 crores is a pre Independence drama. The film is getting all the buzz as it is Rajamouli’s work after his record breaking “Baahubali 2”.
Meanwhile, some Kannada channels started airing news that Yash will also be part of this film. The news channels reported that Rajamouli was impressed by Yash’s “KGF” trailer and hence decided to cast Yash in RRR, as the craze of Yash is expected to reach greater heights all over India after “KGF”. It was assumed that Yash will be playing villain in the film.
This news was met with mixed response. While some fans felt it is good for Yash to act in Telugu film, which is directed by top most director in India, others felt it is a bad move as he will be overshadowed by two stars- Junior NTR and Ramcharan, who are playing lead in the film. But all these news were put to rest, when Yash opened up about this on Facebook.
Yash denied all the news and said he has never been approached by Rajamouli. He also said that his current concentration is on “KGF” only.
