After several delays, it seems Jogi Prem has decided to release his much hyped “The Villain”, on Varamahalakshmi, which is his favourite day. In the past, his directorials “Jogi” and “Jogayya” were also released during this period. While “Jogi” went on to become a blockbuster, “Jogayya” ended up doing poorly.
Months of anticipation around Shivarajkumar and Sudeep starrer “The Villain” are finally going to bring relief to the fans, with director Prem finally setting a release date for the film. He plans to release the film on August 24, Varamahalakshmi, which is good news for fans who have been waiting with bated breath.
The film is now in the post-production stage and dubbing has begun on a grand note. The film has just has one song left to shoot, which Prem is planning to do once Amy Jackson arrives. He is currently completely involved in the post-production work, which includes overlooking the CG (computer graphics) department, among others. The film produced by CR Manohar under Tanvi Productions, features Bollywood actor Mithun Chakraborty and Telugu actor Srikanth, among other artistes.
