Pavan Wadeyar was hailed as the “next big thing” in Sandalwood after his first three films became major hits. Even major stars wanted to work with him. But as they say, nothing is permanent and soon, the actor was giving back-to-back flops with “Jessie” and “Nataraja Service”.
After taking a couple of years’ gap, he directed Puneeth Rajkumar-starrer “Natasaarvabhowma”. The film earned money at box office owing to Puneeth’s star power, however, it received a poor response from the critics. Now, Pavan will be directing “Raymo”, which stars Ishan and Ashika Ranganath in the lead. Ishan will be seen in a new and stylish look.
A romantic genre being filmed along the same lines as “Googly”, Pavan is hoping to make comeback with this venture.
The film’s shoot will begin in Bengaluru and at some point, move to Hyderabad. The team will later head to Singapore.
The music for the film will be scored by Arjun Janya.
