Vivek Oberoi is a well known versatile actor working in Bollywood. However, he has not been able to get into the top league due to poor selection of projects. But, his acting talent can never be ignored. Now, he will be debuting in the Kannada film industry with Shivrajkumar’s “Rustum”, which is being directed by Ravi Varma.
Oberoi was expected to make his debut in Sandalwood with Ramgopal Varma’s “Rai”, which was expected to be a Muthappa Rai biopic. However, the project got shelved. Oberoi also has a special connection with Karnataka. He is married to politician Nandini Alva’s daughter, Priyanka Alva.
Ravi Varma is making his directorial with “Rustom”, which is being bankrolled under the Jayanna Combines banner. The film’s shooting is currently ongoing and Shivrajkumar is participating in the shoot. Vivek will be joining the sets soon. The film features Shraddha Srinath in the female lead and Mayuri as sister to Shivanna.
