After the poor performance of “Run Antony”, Vinay Rajkumar took a break from the big screen. He has almost finished shooting for “Ananthu VS Nusrat”, and he is back with his mass film, “Gramayana”. The teaser for the film was released recently and in it we can that Vinay Rajkumar has had a complete transformation.
Directed by Devanuru Chandru, the film is about people leaving their villages to go live in the cities. In the film, Vinay is muscular and sports a thick beard and lungi. This look of his has been met with a positive response from the audience.
Apparently, the director has been working on the movie’s script for years now. Vinay is happy to be part of the film’s process, right from location scouting to playing the role of a villager. The director has also brought in various artistes from the theatre background to be part of the cast. The film will go on floors from September 18. The music has been scored by Poornachandra Tejaswi and Abhishek G Kasargod.
