Vijay Sethupathi is a big star in the Tamil film industry today. However, he had undergone lots of struggles to reach this position. A few years ago, when he was still struggling, he had acted in a Kannada-Tamil bilingual which did not see a release.
But now, the film has got a censor certificate and is all set to release soon, most probably in the month of August. The film, which has been titled “Akhaada”, stars Vasanth Vishnu in the lead. The film has been in the making for the last three-and-a-half years. It is directed by Shiva Ganesh of “Jigarthanda” fame.
The shooting got stalled in between and the team also had to reshoot parts of the film with a new cast because they couldn’t get the dates from the original cast. The film is based on a true incident and will see Vijay Sethupathi playing a negative role.
