Upendra’s next film with the makers of Chamak has finally got a title. The film will be titled as Buddhivanta 2. Maurya DN is making his debut as a director with this film, which is produced by Chandrashekar.
The makers decided to go with the title of Buddhivanta 2, as they felt it is more catchy. However, they have made it clear that the film is not related to the 2008 super hit film. The 2008 Kannada language film was directed by Ramnath Rigvedhi. Starring Upendra in the lead role with Pooja Gandhi, Brinda Parekh, Saloni Aswani, Natanya Singh, and Suman Ranganathan playing the female leads, the film was a blockbuster upon release.
Meanwhile, Buddhivanta 2 has Meghana Raj, Sonal Monteiro and Adityaa in pivotal roles. The makers aim to release the film by the year-end.
