The much delayed film of Upendra, “Home Minister” is all set to release soon. The film, directed by Sujay K Srihari, is currently in the post-production phase. The title of the film has given rise to speculation that the film is about politics.
However, Upendra has revealed that the film does not have anything to do with politics. He has clarified that the film is a family entertainer. He also revealed that he felt that he was not perfect for the role. However, after the director said that only he could pull off this character, he agreed to be part of the film.
Upendra plays a techie in the film. With Vedhika as the female lead, the film has music director Mohamaad Ghibran making his Kannada debut. The film is all set to release in the month of September.
