Upendra had launched his party Uttam Prajakkeya party last year and a few days ago he had announced that his party will contest from 28 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. It was then said that Upendra too will contest polls, but now the sources have revealed that Upendra has no plans to do so.
According to sources close to Upendra, he is not keen on contesting for the LS polls, but has his eyes set on the next assembly elections in the state. “He prefers to be an MLA,” said sources.
Meanwhile on work front, the audio of Upendra’s next film, ‘ I Love You’ was launched in a grand event in Dharwad. The film, which also stars Rachita Ram and Sonu Gowda in lead will most probably be releasing on March 2019.
