Upendra, who took a break from films to concentrate on politics, is back to making films. After a lacklustre innings in politics, Upendra has decided not to go to politics for now. The buzz in Sandalwood has it that Upendra and team will be back to film discussions this week onwards.
The first on the list for the actor will be completing the pending song in “Home Minister”, which is now in post production. The bilingual film made in Kannada and Telugu is directed by Sujay K Srihari, under Poorna Naidu Productions. It has Vedhika playing the female lead, with Tanya Hope debuting in Kannada as the movie’s second lead.
He will also be completing his pending project “Uppi Rupee”, directed by K Madesh with Rachita Ram in the lead. He has also agreed to meet directors for new scripts. Meanwhile, he has decided to direct another film as well. Upendra and team will be busy making the story board for the next six months. The film will be done on a grand scale and, in all likelihood, the project will be launched on his birthday.
