Suri to start work on prequel of ‘Kendasampige’

‘Kendasampige’ can be referred to as one of director Suri’s best works. The film, which starred newcomers, was a run away hit. After having announced the prequel ‘Kaage Bangaara’, some time back, Suri is finally all set to work on it.

Director Suri has completed the shoot of his next movie, ‘Tagaru’ starring Shivarajkumar, and is now working on its post production. The movie will be out in theatres in early 2018. After this, he will start working on ‘Kaage Bangaara’.

Prashanth Siddi will be playing a prominent role in the film which revolves around three characters who are blind. The film will go on the floor from February 2018. The director has zeroed in on Charan Raj as the music director, and is in the process of finalising the rest of the cast and technicians.

‘Kendasampige’ is a 2015 Indian Kannada thriller film directed by Duniya Suri and written by Surendranath. It starred newcomers, Vikky Varun and Manvitha Harish in the lead roles, making their film debuts. Rajesh Nataranga, Prakash Belawadi and Chandrika featured in supporting roles.
