Suraj Gowda has signed his next film which has been titled “Lakshmi Tanaya”. The “Maduveya Mamatheya Kareyole” star has agreed to be part of “Lakshmi Tanaya”, which also includes Achyuth Rao, Sitara, Sadhu Kokila, Chikanna Shivu KR Pete and Dharmanna in the cast.
The film marks the directorial debut of Ramesh Venkatesh Babu, who previously worked in Telugu films as a technician, in the Kannada film industry. The muhurath for the film was held on September 19 and saw popular Telugu director Sukumar, gracing the event. He tapped the clapboard while Dinakar Thoogudeepa turned on the camera.
The film’s shoot will start in November, before which the makers will reveal the first look. In the meantime, Suraj made a cameo appearance in Hariprriya starrer, “D/o of Parvathamma” and he will also be associating with the director of “Akira”, Naveen Reddy for a film.
