Actor Srinivas Prabhu has been the voice for Ravichandran before. Even to this day, whenever Ravichandran is imitated, it is Srinivas Prabhu’s unique rendition that is copied. Ravichandran surprised everyone by agreeing to don the role of Lord Krishna in “Muniratna Kurukshetra”.
For the first time in his career, he was doing a costume drama and even shaved off his trademark moustache. The shooting for the film was completed some time ago and the actors were dubbing for their roles.
The film team is contemplating bringing Srinivas Prabhu to dub for Ravichandran. Prabhu is an experienced actor himself and also has a background in stage performance. So, the dialogues of a mythological film would not be a big challenge for him. He also has a history of dubbing for Ravichandran and the audience would not find it too different from the voice they already know.
The film has entered the final stage of post-production and the next big event related to the film is the audio launch which is expected shortly. All actors have finished dubbing for the film except Ravichandran.
