Srinidhi Shetty who started her acting career with blockbuster movie ‘KGF’ has reportedly rejected 7 films to work for ‘KGF 2’. The film which was made in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi was a super-duper hit in Sandalwood and also in all the other langauges.
Srinidhi played the role of the lead actress in the film. However, her screen time was very short. When asked about her role in the sequel of KGF: Chapter 1, the actress has revealed that she will have a bigger role to play in the film.
“KGF: Chapter 1 was just an introduction to Reena’s character. From my end ‘picture abhi baaki hai’. I have a bigger role in the sequel. I wanted to only focus on KGF. I wanted to be a part of the film from the day I was narrated the story. Reena’s character will get a complete picture in Chapter 2. There is a lot of me that people can watch out for,” Shetty said.
Srinidhi has not signed any films, even though she has got many offers from Kannada and Telugu film industries. She has decided to start her next film, only after she completes working for KGF: Chapter 2. KGF: Chapter 2 is scheduled to start shooting from the first week of May.
