Sonal Monteiro is on board the Darshan-starrer Roberrt in a prominent role in the film. Sonal has already shot for the film earlier this year. Her role was kept as a surprise.
She had shot for the film way back in May when the film was announced, but she had strict instructions from director Tharun to not reveal that she is a part of the project. He wanted to announce it at the right moment and looks like New Year time was the correct time.
Tharun had seen Sonal in Panchatantra and signed her. The film also has Asha Bhat in lead role opposite Darshan.
