Shruti Haasan was expected to make her debut in Sandalwood with “Pogaru”. However now the actress has said that she is not a part of the film. “Clarifying that I have no plans of doing a Kannada film in the near future and have had no discussion with any1 regarding it either #rumor,” she tweeted.
Jaggesh, who came to know of Shruti’s tweet, expressed his displeasure through Twitter. In his first tweet, Jaggesh says, “There is no short of heroines in Kannada. Producers are not beggars to stand in front of heroines, who have displeasure in working in Kannada industry. Unfortunately, our people are still to learn lessons.”
His next tweet read: “These heroines can nowhere be compared to our college girls in Karnataka. Youth will run miles away if they see them without makeup. They make good business with their films in Karnataka, but they don’t want to be part of Kannada films.”
Shruti’s tweet has upset many people in Karnataka. We will have to see how Shruti reacts to these criticisms.
