Stunt-master-turned-director Ravi Varma, who is set to work with Shivarajkumar for his directorial debut “Rustum” to be made under Jayanna Combines has signed “U-Turn” heroine Shraddha Srinath as the female lead. The film’s muhurath is planned for April 24, on Dr. Rajkumar’s birth anniversary.
Anoop Seelin has been roped in as the music director and Naveen Kumar has been roped in as the cinematographer for the film. Shraddha was last seen in “Operation Alamelamma”. She is busy with Tamil and Hindi films.
“Rustum” will be the first big film for Shraddha. The film has Century star Shivarajkumar playing the role of a police officer. Shivarajkumar, who is currently juggling between shooting for “The Villain” and “Kavacha”, will proceed with “Rustum” later.
Shraddha has finished shooting for “Godhra”, which has Satish in the lead. She is currently shooting for her debut film “Milan Talkies”, which is being directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia.
