Hat-trick hero Shiva Rajkumar’s film ‘Kavacha’ which was to be released by the end of 2018, and later postponed to January 18, 2019, has been advanced yet again.
‘Kavacha’s’ crew says that the release of the film is delayed due to technical issues.
The film written and directed by G V R Vasu is a crime flick and remake of Malayalam film ‘Oppam’, which starred Mohanlal and was released in 2016.
Shivarajkumar is acting in a remake film after many years, and it is also the directorial debut of Vasu, with Arjun Janya directing the music for the film.
Produced by M V V Satyanarayana and A Sampath under Hayagriva Movie Adishtana, ‘Kavacha’ also stars Isha Koppikar, who plays a cop. Vasishta N Simha plays the antagonist while Baby Meenakshi will reprise her role from the original movie Oppam.
