Bengaluru: Challenging star Darshan turned 42 on Saturday, February 16. The actor had a humble birthday celebration and then requested his fans not to cut cakes or celebrate his birthday in grandeur, but send food stuffs to Siddaganga Mutt instead.
Recently, Darshan in a Facebook post had stated, “Greetings to my all my fans. Recently, some fans have posted a video in Facebook in which they have mentioned that on the occassion of my birthday they will collect food stuffs and deliver it near my house, and have requested me to distribute the food to Siddaganga Mutt and some orphanages. I am really impressed and very happy with this initiative taken by my fans”.
Darshan has also stated that he himself will deliver the food stuffs collected by his fans to Siddaganga Mutt.
Darshan’s fans celebrated the actor’s birthday by supplying food items and other ration to orphanages.
As per the request of Darshan, fans from many districts have gathered and delivered quintals of rice and dal. The storehouse in Darshan’s residence is filled with rice and other food items.
