Filmmakers are preparing to welcome 2018 with a bang and the first film to be released next year on January 5 will be “Bruhaspati.”
Made under Rockline Productions, directed by Nanda Kishore, the film stars Manoranjan in the lead. The film’s audio, which hit the market over the weekend, has been well received by the audience and has also generated curiosity about Manoranjan’s mass look in his second film.
Mishti Chakraborty plays the female lead and others in the cast include Sitara, Avinash and Taarak Ponnappa. The film is a remake of the Tamil film “VIP”, which starred Dhanush in the lead role. The Tamil version was a blockbuster. However, the buzz regarding the Kannada version is low. The teaser of the film was met with poor response.
