Bengaluru: An actor-producer of the Kannada film industry has been arrested on charges of allegedly sexually assaulting an aspiring actress for two years with the promise of offering a chance to act in his film.
Reportedly, the victim who hails from Davanagere had fallen for the producer believing that he would help her become an actress. Frustrated after wiating for two years without any chance to act in films, and repeated sexual assaults, the girl has filed a case with the Kumaraswamy Layout police against the producer.
The accused is Kumar Gaurav, producer of the film ‘Hack’. Kumaraswamy Layout police have arrested Kumar Gaurav and are interrogating him.
