Bengaluru: Popular Kannada comedy actor Bullet Prakash breathed his last on Monday after battling illness.

He was 44-years-old. He was diagnosed with gastric and liver infection.

Known for his performances in films like ‘Aithalakadi’ and ‘Aryan’, Prakash was put on ventilator at a private hospital in Bengaluru recently.

Sources say that Prakash had lost 35 kgs drastically, which too affected his health adversely.

Earlier today, the hospital where he was admitted, released a statement that said, ” Despite all the treatment measures, he is still in a critical state. We are keeping at constant check on his health and are keeping his family updated on the same.” However, now his demise has come as a shocker.

The actor participated in the second season of popular reality television show Bigg Boss.

Prakash was fondly known as Bullet, as he was often seen riding a Royal Enfield Bullet.
