Actor Rishi of "Operation Alamelamma" and "Kavaludaari" fame, is taking a small breather from the film industry to prepare himself before he steps into a new phase in his life, marriage.
The Sandalwood actor, who has been working on a couple of projects, got engaged to writer Swathi in an intimate ceremony in Hyderabad earlier this year. As per a report by Entertainment Times, the wedding will be celebrated over three days in Chennai and will be followed by a reception in Bengaluru.
According to the fast-rising star, the engagement was held in Hyderabad as Swathi's family currently resides there. The wedding is being held in Chennai as her family has roots there. He adds that they will have a beach-side wedding, including sangeet, mehendi and other matrimonial ceremonies in Chennai, which will be held on November 8, 9 and 10.
"Only close family and friends will be in attendance at the intimate wedding celebrations. We plan to then have a reception in Bengaluru on November 20, where we will invite my industry colleagues and friends,” Rishi said.
He also revealed that the two are yet to decide on a honeymoon destination.
Rishi is currently has "Sakala Kalaa Vallabha", "Saarvajanikarige Suvarnaavakasha", "Ramana Avatara" and an as-yet-untitled film with debutant filmmaker Islahuddin.
