Ravi Basrur is not only a popular music director but, also a film director. He has directed three films so far, two in Kunda Kannada and one in the Kannada language. All the three films have done well at the box office and now he is back with another film.
This time Basrur will be directing a children’s film, which will be based in his hometown Udupi. The director has roped in 200 children from across Karnataka. He intends to complete this film by May, as the summer holidays for the children ends at that time.
N S Rajkumar, who produced his directorial “Kataka”, is producing this film as well. Apart from child artiste Shlagha Saligrama, who played the lead in “Kataka”, the film will also feature 200 children from various parts of Karnataka including Bengaluru, Mandya and Ramnagara among other places. The kids whom Ravi had auditioned during the making of “Kataka” will be part of the film. With music to be composed by Ravi himself, the film’s cinematography is by Sachin Basrur.
