Rakshit Shetty went through a personal low after his break up with actress Rashmika Mandanna. However, professionally, he is back with a bang. With two films already on hand, he has now announced that he will be directing a new film. It is said to be based on the legend of Punyakoti, the tale of the honest cow and the hungry tiger.
This will be Rakshit’s second film as director after “Ulidavaru Kandanthe”, which gained a cult-classic status. He is currently focussed on working on the screenplay along with his team and does not want to think about the budget as of now. According to sources, the budget of the film may touch Rs 100 crores.
Rakshit is planning to approach stars from other film industries as well as he wants it to be multi-lingual. The production banner of the film has not yet been decided, but it looks like Rakshit may co-produce the film under his home banner. However, the huge budget may make him approach other producers as well.
