Bengaluru: Last week of the year has always been a lucky period for Sandalwood. In the past, blockbuster films like Mungaaru Male and Kirik Party were released during this period and they have scripted history. This year Rakshit Shetty has already announced that his dream project ‘Avane Srimannarayana’ will be releasing on December 27.
It is being said that makers of Pogaru are also contemplating to release their film on December 27. The film, which is directed by Nanda Kishore has Dhruva Sarja and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead role. If this happens, then it will lead to a huge clash.
As we all know, Rakshit and Rashmika were in a relationship in the past. The two got engaged to each other and then broke up, fuelling a lot of talk in the industry. The two moved on and have been focusing on their respective careers and now, the two are going to clash at the box-office.
Meanwhile, Pogaru will be released in Kannada and Telugu, while Avane Srimannarayana is releasing in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi.
