Actress Rachitha Ram has recently begun campaigning for the upcoming Karnataka Legislative Assembly election. As part of her campaigning efforts, she has made a video asking the people to vote for the Janata Dal (S) party.
The video has been uploaded on various social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook and has gone viral. Fans of the actress as well as the JD(S) party have tweeted the video which has subsequently been retweeted by Rachitha.
The video has also been uploaded on the official Facebook page of H D Kumaraswamy, former chief minister and JD(S) State President and has, till reports last came in, garnered 183 shares and over 3000 views.
In the video, Rachitha says, “Our state election is scheduled for May 12. Our state needs a good leader who is struggling for the development of our state and for the farmers. So everyone, use your vote responsibly.”
She also said that H D Kumaraswamy has supported the farmers and implemented affordable projects on their behalf. “We (JD(S)) are the only successful leaders who have been able to develop the state in a short period of time,” she says and asks the people to vote for the development of the state and the future of “our Karnataka by voting for the JD(S).”
