Nagashekar is still basking in success of ‘Amar’, and has already begun work for his next film, ‘Sanjay alias Sanju’. Rachita Ram plays the female lead in the film. The male lead is yet to be finalised.
‘Sanjay alias Sanju’ is going to be a love story that is high on emotional quotient. There are rumours that this film is ‘Sanju Weds Geetha’ sequel that Nagashekar had announced a few years ago with Kriti Kharbanda and himself in the cast. However, Nagashekar has dismissed the news.
Meanwhile, Nagashekar will debut in Bollywood. He will begin working on the Hindi remake of ‘Myna’, in which newcomer Bhavesh will the lead role. Reportedly, Tanya Hope, who played the female lead in his last directorial ‘Amar’, is the heroine for the film. The Kannada version of ‘Myna’ starred Chetan and Nithya Menen in lead roles and was a blockbuster.
