When it comes to the music for his films, R Chandru is known for picking outgreat talents. In the past, he has signed on new music directors for his films like “Charminar” and “Kanaka”. Now, his latest pick is doctor-turned-music director Kiran Thotambyle, who will be making his debut in Upendra starrer “I Love You”.
A double degree holder and a gold medalist, Kiran has always been interested in music. Chandru visited his studio recently and browsed through his work. Chandru was impressed with his work and immediately offered him the job.
“I Love You” is a philosophical love story being made in Kannada and Telugu simultaneously. The muhurath of the film has now been planned for May 21.
