Bengaluru: Kannada film star Puneeth Rajkumar escaped unhurt after his car, a Range Rover, met with a minor accident when the tire burst at Ananthapura in Andhra Pradesh on Thursday, June 7 at around 9.30 pm.
The incident occurred when Puneeth, fondly known as ‘Power star’, and his four friends were returning to Bengaluru from Bellary after shooting for his upcoming movie “Nata Sarvabhouma”. Sources say that the car tire burst after hitting a stone, causing minor damage to the bumper. Puneeth Rajkumar was in the front seat, while his friends were in the back seat.
Locals gathered at the spot upon hearing the sound of the tire burst, and Puneeth spoke to them with his usual smile. Later, he returned to Bengaluru in another car.
The actor’s Twitter handle, managed by his office staff, however, said that the Range Rover’s tire was punctured but, there was no accident. They requested not to believe in any rumors.
