Puneeth Rajkumar seems to be on a cameo spree. The actor, who has been a lead actor for 15 years, has never once acted in a cameo role in all that time. He was first seen in a cameo role in “Kataka”, which was released two months ago. He was later seen in a cameo role in “Humble Politican Nagraj”, which will release this month end.
Now he will be seen in Anup Bhandari’s second film “Rajaratha”. This bilingual film will be released in theatres along with its Telugu counterpart, “Rajaratham”. Puneeth will be seen only in the Kannada version, whereas in the Telugu version, Rana Daggupati will play the cameo role.
The film has Nirup Bhandari playing the lead, along with Tamil actor Arya playing a pivotal role. The film, made under Jollyhits, also features Avantika Shetty as the female lead and Ravi Shankar in an important role. Anup has scored the music, the background music is by Ajaneesh Loknath and the cinematography is by William David.
Meanwhile Puneeth is getting ready to shoot his next film, which will be directed by Shashank. His “Anjaniputra” is scheduled to be released on December 22, which is directed by Harsha.
