Sandalwood star Puneeth Rajkumar had only recently joined the micro-blogging site, Twitter, but had not posted anything since he signed up in July. Recently, however, Puneeth uploaded a cover image on his Twitter page that read: “First tweet on 3rd September”.
Now, the wait is finally over and all the speculations can finally rest, as the star, just as he had promised, made his first tweet on Monday, September 3.

Just last week, we had informed that the star would be in Dallas, Texas, USA, to release the teaser of Hemanth M Rao’s directorial and Rishi starrer “Kavaludaari” on September 2 at the Akka Sammelana 2018 world Kannada conference. With this film, Puneeth has now turned independent producer and it looks like he has used everyone’s anticipation of his first tweet to his advantage, making sure that he has a large enough audience for the promotion of the film. The tweet has been shared many times and is going viral on Twitter.
“Kavaludaari” is an investigative-thriller where Rishi plays a traffic cop and Anant Nag plays a retired police officer. Roshni Prakash, Achyuth Kumar, Suman Ranganath, Siddharth Maadhyamika and Samanvita Shetty play pivotal roles in the film.
