Puneeth Rajkumar has finally joined Twitter. He had opened an account on the micro-blogging platform in July itself but, did not make a single tweet till now. The star is also not following anyone on Twitter. However, his Twitter account has been verified by the company, as evidenced by the blue star with a tick next to his name. Puneeth has already amassed more than ten thousand followers as the news of his joining continues to spread on Twitter.
Fans and celebrities are waiting for the star to make his first tweet. Last year, fans of Puneeth had made an online movement, requesting him to join Twitter, however, the star stayed away from social media. But, it now looks like he has finally given in to the demands of his fans.
The star has, however, uploaded a cover image that reads “First tweet on 3rd September”. What will his first tweet be? Will he tweet something about his ongoing projects? Will he announce any new projects? We just have to wait and watch.
Meanwhile, Puneeth is busy wrapping up his next with Pavan Wadeyar, which is now scheduled to release around the Diwali festival time. He will also start shooting for Santhosh Anandram’s next.
