Priyanka Upendra made a grand comeback with “Mummy.” The film did unbelievable business in box office. It was a great success, compared to the budget invested on the film. Not only in Kannada, the film also did great business in Telugu, with it’s dubbed version “Chinnari.”
Lohith, who directed “Mummy”, will be associating with the talented actress again for two films. The first one will be a social drama. The script of the film was already decided before the release of “Mummy”. Priyanka had assured to do the film, if “Mummy” was successful. Priyanka has kept her promise and decided to work in the film.
The second will be sequel to “Mummy.” After stupendous success of the prequel, fans wanted a sequel. Lohith also felt that “Mummy” can be made into a franchisee. He has decided to make the sequel. Priyanka has also agreed to be a part of the film.
The year 2017 will surely be a great year for Priyanka Upendra’s fans, wherein she has many films up for release. Along with acting commitments, she will also be producing her husband’s much hyped directorial venture, which will go on floors soon.
