Prem's 23rd film "Dalapathi", released this Friday to good response. The film, which took a long time to make, has got good reviews from critics as well as the audience. Meanwhile, Prem is waiting for a good script for his 25th film.
His 24th is "Lifejote Ondu Selfie", which is presently under production and his 25th is likely to be a historical. Prem has been a fan of historical subjects and Dr. Rajkumar. "Playing historical roles would be a great challenge and I would give any amount of time if I get an opportunity. There are dozens of characters in Karnataka’s history that need to be portrayed in films. There are fascinating stories of the lives of Nrupatunga, Madakari Nayaka, Hechchemma Nayaka and many more which we have not utilised in films. My dream is to play a historical role,” he said.
Prem is known for his romantic roels. He made his debut with "Nenapirali", which was a blockbuster. He has acted in many successful films in his 10-year career. His last year's release "Chowka", saw him as a 48-year-old prisoner, a role which was praised by one and all.
